About Last Night: Trouva Independent Awards 2023

Take a look at what went down at the Trouva Independent Awards 2023, where we came together to celebrate the successes of our community of independent boutiques.

Each year Trouva hosts its Independent Awards to celebrate the incredible work of the small businesses in our independent boutique community.

After a challenging year in the world of retail, it was all the more special to be back together celebrating the success, creativity and perseverance of these brilliant businesses.

We hosted an evening of drinks, nibbles and wonderful conversation at Wild Swans in Islington, last year’s Boutique of the Year winners.

Out of the 800+ businesses that Trouva works with, 32 were nominated for our 8 awards.

Boutique of the Year Award

The culmination of all the other awards combined, this award goes to the boutique who has flourished in every area of its Trouva partnership over the past 12 months.

New Boutique of the Year Award

This award recognises those boutiques that joined the Trouva community with a bang. 2022 welcomed a host of new boutiques and the four shortlisted tonight impressed the team with their strong commercial and operational performance, making an impact from day 1.

Shop Small, Think Big Award

Shop Small, Think Big was an initiative Trouva launched last year to shine a light on the wide range of sustainable & conscious products and brands that are listed on the site. We were so impressed with the nominations and the efforts that our shortlisted boutiques are going to make sure that these values are at the core of the business.

In-Store Superstar Award

This boutique-nominated award celebrates those who went above and beyond in-store last year from packaging orders, product selection, writing product listings, and more.

Curate Brand of the Year Award

Another new award and this time is for the Curate brand of the year - Curate, our wholesale marketplace, hosts a range of almost 200 handpicked brands, and this award recognises those brands with the stand out listings & eye-catching products that resonated with our community last year.
