Posh Totty Designs, located in both London and Brighton, was set up in 2004 after a trip to Mexico where owner Alice Rivers Cripps was taught the basics of jewellery making by a group of local Mayan jewellers. Setting up in a small shop in Brighton, Alice sold her handmade, hand stamped and personalised jewellery alongside handcrafted gifts sourced from other makers. The brand has grown rapidly and is now a team of 50 split across a boutique in London and Brighton and a concession Elys of Wimbledon. Each of the stores has its own character and community. Aiming to build a better relationship with their customers (an area Alice is very passionate about) the team runs classes in ring and jewellery charm making and macramé.
"Bricks and clicks, we need them both: we want the traditional high street but also the ease of ordering at 10 o clock at night …with Trouva we are able to access the best of all the high streets in one go."
