Posh Totty Designs, located in Brighton, was set up in 2004 after a trip to Mexico where owner Alice Rivers Cripps was taught the basics of jewellery making by a group of local Mayan jewellers. Setting up in a small shop in Brighton, Alice sold her handmade, hand stamped and personalised jewellery alongside handcrafted gifts sourced from other makers. The brand has grown rapidly and is now a team of 48 split across four boutiques, each of which has its own character. Aiming to build a better relationship with their customers (an area Alice is very passionate about) the team runs classes in ring making, macramé and piñata making.
"Bricks and clicks, we need them both: we want the traditional high street but also the ease of ordering at 10 o clock at night …with Trouva we are able to access the best of all the high streets in one go."
