Holy Mountain
Mount Fuji has been sacred since ancient times, and it was a forbidden area for women until the Meiji period in the mid-19th century.
The beautiful cone shape has inspired many of the country's artists, but the best known expression is probably Hokusai's 36 views of the Fuji mountain.
Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in own workshop outside Copenhagen, Denmark.
No frame is included.
