Flower Colour Theory - Darroch & Michael Putnam
This compact book is packed with 175 stunning flower arrangements by the duo behind New York's celebrated floral design studio, Putnam and Putnam. The book introduces the reader to flower selection and colour and teaches how to combine colours to create original and stunning floral arrangements.
As well as showcasing flowers the arrangements also often showcase and incorporate fruit and vegetables including cavolo nero and asparagus. The sequence of the arrangements in the book moves from monochrome through pastels and brights to heavily saturated colours.
At the rear of the book are pages of detachable colour swatches which are intended to be used when shopping for flower colour combinations but could probably be put to all manner of other uses.
