Owner Ginny Oei opened SPOOM in 2003 as an answer to ephemeral trends in fast fashion, wanting to focus more on timeless, contemporary styles. Words that embody its clothes? Comfortable, fresh and casual-chic. The silhouettes are simple and the materials, rich. In the space, Ginny aims to actualise the Dutch term 'gezellige' - broadly meaning cosy, friendly and comfortable.
