Situated in the foyer space of The Art House sits a unique and vibrant shop and cafe. The products we stock range from locally made crafts, original artworks, homewares, greetings cards, prints, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and much more. 

Although the majority of our stock is handmade, we aim for a very high standard of product in order to offer something that is both value for money, competitive with its mass produced counterpart and beautiful. All of our stock is lovingly hand chosen and curated, in our bricks and mortar store you'll find stock displayed on original oak shelves salvaged from the buildings former use as a library, and a victorian  hat stand to boot, lots of little touches to make your shopping experience unique.

At The Art House, artists and audiences of all kinds are invited to engage with the creative process through a year-round programme of residencies, exhibitions, events, workshops, and professional development opportunities. 

We have a very strong ethos and identity that runs through everything we do so we also source our products with this in mind, we endeavour to be sustainable and environmentally conscious, but also supportive of small scale makers and artists in what we sell and stock.
