In 1896 businessman Martin Morel opened a textile printing company near Lyon. The company closed in 1982 and its many designs were consigned to the archives, however in 2013 Martin's great great grandson Emmanuel rediscovered these patterns and was inspired to create a lifestyle brand that would rework these vintage prints into contemporary fashion and homewares.
"We produce our clothing in Turkey, scarves in Italy and homewares here in France. We're passionate about giving our customers the very best quality possible, so we make sure we know where and how every item is made."
By using his great great grandfather's patterns in fresh, contemporary cuts, Emmanuel breathes new life into vintage designs. Some of the prints used date as far back as the early 1900s, and yet manage to remain aesthetically relevant over a century later.
