This warming, easily absorbed balm works wonders to soothe and relax tight muscles as well as on areas of injury and bruising. Melting on contact with the skin, the menthol crystals and essential oils release a beautiful aroma as they warm up from being massaged into the skin.

The essential oils of rosemary, clove and lavender are some of the best for bruising, pain relief and increasing the blood flow to aid in healing.

Caution: not suitable for people with epilepsy or severe asthma and avoid contact with the eyes.

How to use The Organic Alchemist Aches and Pains Muscle Balm.

Warm a small amount of balm into the palms of your hands and massage into tired, aching muscles, increasing the pressure to work deeper into the tissue.
When used to help recover from injury or an area of bruising, gently massage the balm into the skin with light pressure, up to 3 times a day.
This balm also makes a wonderful steam inhalation to help clear headaches or blocked sinuses. Add a small amount to a bowl of hot water or inhalation cup and inhale the aroma with your eyes closed.
This balm has been formulated to be used on smaller areas of the body only.

About the maker.

Each handcrafted product by The Organic Alchemist is part of a journey which starts with Katherine’s idyllic Sussex countryside childhood. A love of nature and awareness of conscious living was encouraged by her holistically-minded mother, and Katherine’s lifelong fascination with the healing powers of plants began.

Embarking on a career as a massage therapist and reflexologist in 2005 allowed Katherine to witness first-hand the benefits of a whole-person, natural approach to health. Addressing the unique skin concerns of hundreds of clients over the years, she began an in-depth study into the science behind the ingredients in skincare products. While discovering that many mainstream and high-end beauty products contain cheap and often harmful ingredients wasn’t a surprise, it was the companies’ unethical approach - from commonplace animal testing to the use of palm oil – that led Katherine to found The Organic Alchemist. She knew there was another way: nourishing our skin while tending our shared earth.
