"Take Me to the Lakes - The Berlin Edition", the first publication by the Berlin independent publisher The Gentle Temper, presents more than 140 bathing spots, some of which are hidden, at the 50 most beautiful lakes in Berlin and Brandenburg. The selection is complemented by nine boutique hotels, spas and farms that invite you to stay overnight near the water. In addition to full-page views of the lake and snapshots that evoke memories of warm summer days when you turn the pages, each destination is accompanied by a short text in English: information on the depth and quality of the water, leisure activities such as water ski facilities or boat rentals, as well as recommendations for picnic areas on the shore help you make the trip to match your own wishes. The guide also acts as a compass in terms of design: four main sections present the seaside resorts north, south, east and west of the city center, sorted according to cardinal points. Stylized overview maps and exact geodata are listed in a separate section so that the way to the bank is not an odyssey, but a walk.
