An inside-out Hawthorne Abilene leather construction ensures this boot only gets better with age, thanks to it's increased water resistance and breathability. Furthermore, this inside-out technique ensures the leather will not dry out and remain supple for years to come.

A goodyear leather welt is used to attach Red Wing's Traction Tred Sole, a lightweight design built for maximum comfort and durability with minimal tread to reduce unwanted debris clinging to the sole, while also helping to reduce the overall weight of the boot.
