The 18ct Gold Plate Cowrie Shell Bracelet is part of our unique Tidal Collection. The bracelet is minimalistic, with an organically shaped cowrie pendant.

The cowrie shell has an incredible history, it has been used as a form of currency in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In Nepal and India, it represents wealth and womanhood and used in certain ceremonies to worship the Goddess Laxmi.

Our bracelet is inspired by a Cowrie shell found on a sandy beach from Tulum, Mexico.

This would make the perfect gift for family, friends or an ocean lover and can serve as a sentimental jewellery piece to remind someone of pleasant memories from a very special holiday or honeymoon.

The 18ct gold Plate Cowrie Shell Bracelet is handmade in sterling silver and finished in 18ct yellow or rose gold plate in our Brighton workshop. It is also available in silver, see our other listing for information about these.
