They are fountainers in step with modern times, which guarantee comfort and functionality and at the same time an innovative technology and a modern design. These features are traceable in the name of the pens, Curidas, an invented term created by the combination of the Japanese word Curidasu, which refers to the extension of the pen tip and the English curiosity's tip. Curidas fountainers have been designed to prevent the ink from dry, thanks to the presence of a soft pocket for a nib, which provides a fluid and smooth writing experience at any time. The thin and long nib allows a simpler control of the pen tip when writing. A retractable fountain pen is not, however, a recent invention, the first produced by Platinum Pen Company came out in 1965 with the name of Platinum Knock.
