Niwaki Hori Hori And Canvas Sheath
Higurashi Secateurs
These drop forged carbon steel secateurs are made in Sanjo, Japan. The steel used in the blades is KA-70 grade carbon steel. They are the slightly more sedate sibling of the yellow vinyl covered handle secateurs that are the Higurashi GR secateurs. In terms of where these secateurs sit on the quality scale from Niwaki they are somewhere between the £40+ secateurs such as the OKatsune, Shumatsu and Mainichi versions and the more expensive GR-Pro range.
These secateurs have a lovely cutting action, they come with a spare spring and in a simple graphic presentation box. The catch at the handle end of the secateurs means that they can be easily locked in the closed position and the catch released for when you need to use them.
