National Park Print Shop Kinder Scout - Riso Edition A4 Framed Riso Print
The mass trespass of Kinder Scout was an act of wilful trespass and defiance by ramblers. It was undertaken at Kinder Scout, in the Peak District on 24 April 1932, to highlight the fact that folk in England and Wales were denied access to areas of open country. The trespass was largely organised by Benny Rothman, secretary of the British Workers' Sports Federation, in retaliation to the expulsion of the group from Bleaklow three weeks earlier.
2022 marked the 90th Anniversary of this historical event. This design is dedicated to those protesters, imagining the posters inviting you to join the march. Learn more about the Kinder Scout Mass Trespass and the Right to Roam campaign.
