Miffy Lucky Box In Cream
Miffy Money Box - Red
I'm a sucker for most things Miffy . . . and this is no exception. Coinage might be fast disappearing from day-to-day life but it is worther resurrecting if only to use this money box.
The money box comes in two different colours, this red one and also blue.
The base of the box unscrews to allow you to access your hoard.
Height:13cm Diameter: 6.5cm approx
ps. if you think I've left the 50p in the money box that is in the photograph . . . you're mistaken!
Dutch author, artist and illustrator Dick Bruna’s iconic little bunny character, Miffy, needs very little introduction. First drawn in 1955, Miffy has appeared in over 30 books and appeals to children all over the globe. Uncomplicated and positive in attitude, Miffy’s adventurous spirit is infectious - for children and adults alike. Her original name is derived from a Dutch word which means ‘little bunny’ but, as its very difficult to pronounce, she became ‘Miffy’ to her international audience. This adorable little rabbit has been incarnated into many cute and covetable forms, from corduroy or velvet soft toys, to her motif appearing on china, stationery and textiles. She’s a timeless childhood icon, whose appeal is just as strong, no matter how old you get.
