Front opening with double zip and windproof button placket with snap fasteners, two large external handwarmer pockets with zip and flap with snap fastener, one internal zip pocket, sleeves with elastic cuffs, hood, adjustable waist and bottom with elastic drawstring. All leather accessories are made from natural vegetable dyed leather. The Long Mountain Jacket is like the classic Mountain Jacket, but 6 inches longer, made from water-repellent paraffin cotton. The jacket has two large zipped front pockets, elastic cuffs on the sleeves to prevent air from entering and a double drawstring, one at the waist and one at the bottom, to allow the garment to adhere perfectly to the body. There are two adjustment frogs with double buttons on the wrists. A double-slider front zip topped by a storm flap with snap fasteners closes the garment. Each button has reinforced leather washers. The hood has two drawstrings, one on the front that adheres perfectly to the face and one on the back that allows side vision even when the hood is worn. Inside, the body is lined with fleece, the sleeves are lined with cupro and padded with wool batting from sheep raised in Italy. A large inner pocket is closed with a security zipper.
