Erstwhile Wall Hanging African Fauna
This is the reproduction of an original illustration of a Salmon-crested Cockatoo, also known as Moluccan Cockatoo, (originally captioned "Plyctolophus rosaceus: Salmon-crested Cockatoo") by Edward Lear 1812-1888. This piece has been perfectly preserved with over 100 years of wear-and-tear caputured to add to it’s character. The artwork has been printed onto Airtex canvas, with its brilliant colours and accurate detail carefully restored. Hand-mounted with aged timber batons and 100% cotton rope, each piece is supplied ready to hang. 80cm W x 125cm H
