Irish Wool 'Corran' Throw - Chestnut
Woven in Ireland at the Cushendale Mill - a mill that is one of only three remaining traditional Irish woollen mills using the wool of Irish sheep which means that they can trace the wool from fleece to the final product. The mill is on the banks of the river Barrow in Kilkenny.
Corrán means chevron in Irish and the throw has broad stripes that include a chevron design. The wool is a mix of Galway sheep fleece blended with lambswool.
The colours are mainly a chestnut brown mixed with a slightly blue grey with cream woven through both of those colours.
This throw is slightly smaller than the other Corrán throw that we stock.
