Buzz Rickson's Herringbone Work Shirt - Black
N-3 utility shirt adopted by the US Navy in the 1940s. It was classified into the ``N-3 uniform'' set-up category for combat and work, and consisted of four items: an N-3 jacket, N-3 trousers, an N-3 cap, and an N-3 shirt. The three items other than the shirt were made of herringbone twill, but the shirt was made from a light-weight cotton poplin material in consideration of its use in the subtropics. When you look at the details, such as the reinforced gussets on both sides of the hem and the fine gathers on the back yoke and cuffs, you can tell that this shirt was made with great care and time. Originally long sleeves, short sleeves are original to Buzz Ricksons.
100% Cotton.
