The authentic ceramic swallows by Bordallo Pinheiro, painted one by one by hand in Portugal.
In 1896, the Portuguese artist Bordallo Pinheiro registered a patent for his swallows upon realizing the potential success they would have. Very soon, Bordallo's swallows began to decorate the houses of the Portuguese both inside and outside their borders, until reaching our days, already converted into an icon.
More details about earthenware swallows: Measurements of this piece: 20 x 13.5 x 4.5 cm. Hand painted one by one in the Bordallo Pinheiro workshop in Portugal. Create a flock: find them in 4 different sizes, ideal for decorating a wall, placing them at different distances. The back of each piece has a hole where you can hook a spike.
