Remove the little cap that forms from the wick after each use. When the flame consumes the wick, a mushroom-shaped cap forms on the end. This is normal. But if you let that little hat grow with each use or with too many consecutive hours of burning, its own weight will cause the wick to bend, break, or when it cools get buried in wax and you lose it!, and it may also produce soot in the glass.

Always leave it on for the appropriate amount of time, that is, just enough time for the entire wax surface to melt to the edges. This could take more than 2 hours, as it depends on factors such as ambient temperature depending on the time of year. The first time will be the one that takes the longest. When the entire surface has melted, turn it off. The shape will be perfect and the aroma will still remain in the room for a long time. Contrary to what it may seem to you, this way you will get the most out of the wax and ensure that your candle has a longer life . If you extinguish it prematurely, a small pool will have formed around the flame, but the edges will remain solid, and this will create an unevenness in the center (called the tunnel effect).

On the contrary, if you leave it on for too many hours the accumulated heat will increase and your candle will burn out more quickly, the container may overheat and the flame will be more unstable, among other things.

Warning: Never leave a burning candle unattended, nor light it near, on or under objects that may be flammable. The best place is on a smooth, stable surface like a table. Conservation and cleaning

To get the most out of their aroma and quality, burn them within a year.

If you don't want their color to change, always keep them away from window light.

If you are not using it, keep the lid on to prevent dust from dirtying the wax.

If the glass turns black, wiping it with a simple paper napkin will leave it looking like new.

When your candle is finished, you can clean the inside with very hot water and soap and use the jar again for whatever you want.
