Description

Initially fresh and green, the fragrance blooms in the morning dew, awoken by fruity aromas of blackcurrant and osmanthus. Peony then reveals its full beauty, intoxicating us with its delicately floral rose-tinged facets. Lotus and bamboo join peony, revealing their tender aquatic notes. Ethereal musks help this creation to diffuse readily. A very fresh fragrance – you could even say: as fresh as you are! PS: A perfumer needs to be extremely skilled in their use of ingredients to work with blackcurrant bud. If too much is used, it can quickly ruin a creation with its very animalistic facets. What does peony smell like? Symbolizing beauty and springtime, in perfumery the peony embodies delicateness. Its floral scent smells deceptively like rose. Its subtle botanical accents evoke morning dew or lily of the valley. Perfumers blend balanced amounts of several ingredients to recreate the smell of a peony as it is too delicate to be extracted. What does lotus smell like? A sacred flower and a symbol of purity, lotus flower inspired our perfumer when creating 802. It enhances floral bouquets with a soft, crystalline and watery freshness that pairs marvelously with peony or hyacinth. The headspace method is used to capture the scent of this flower. Not familiar with this technique? Let us explain, it’s very simple. The lotus is put under a glass dome. The odor compounds fill the air and are captured by an absorbent stalk, which is then rinsed with a solvent to isolate the “scent”. Next, this mixture of aromas is analyzed by a machine, which indicates the amount of each component. The perfumer now has all the information needed to recreate the scent of this lotus. Like all our fragrances, this flower is unisex and it can be found in floral, green and oriental perfumes. What does bamboo smell like? It creates a botanical, woody, aquatic and fresh impression. Bamboo exists as a natural extract, but most of the time it is recreated using several ingredients in what is known as an accord. Perfumers like to use it as a top note to make their creations more open or as a heart note for its subtly floral woody character. Mix & Match:Become your very own perfumer by mixing two fragrances together. Strike the right balance for a result that is just as unique as you are. Marrying bright and sunny notes with this floral freshness, 103 and 802 are a delight. With more intensity, the floral notes become fruity. Mix 401 with 802 if the idea tempts you.How to use it:Spritz on pulse points like wrists, neck, behind ears, and inner elbows to make your fragrance last longer.
