First, remove any embedded dirt with a soft-bristled brush or a damp cloth and let the boots air dry, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources, which could dry out the leather. Apply shoe polish in cream or spray. The first time you use polish, it is recommended to test it first on an inconspicuous area of the boots to make sure that it does not alter their color or appearance. If you use polish, apply a small amount to a cloth or brush and spread it on the shoes in circular motions. Remove excess frosting and let it dry.
