This Bjørn Wiinblad bowl made of glazed porcelain is an interpretation of the artist's original design for a tapestry. The design is his hallmark face of a lady with almond shaped eyes and a triangular nose. The inside of the bowl is a patchwork of colourful squares which are echoed on the outside with raised squares in glossy white. Part of a new series including a serving platter and a jug designed in conjuction with the 'Blue House' museum for Bjorn Wiinblad in Denmark.The name 'Gobelin' refers to the tighly woven tapestries made in Brussels on which this design is based.
