Walking The Dog is an open edition print that has been taken from an original abstract painting by Arie Vardi. This painting sees a man walking his collie dog along the shore of a beach under a dramatic skyline. With a deep colour palette of blues, greys and oranges. You can see the marks left by Arie’s paint brushes and palette knife.

Chile born Arie Vardi moved to Jerusalem to study Graphic Design. Following graduation in 1991 he moved to Scotland. Many of his paintings are inspired by his love of Perthshire, Scotland and the Mediterranean. This is reflected in the vibrant colour palette he uses in his work. Arie paints using acrylic, oils and mixed media, and often experiments with light and the way it moves across a scene creating shadows and pops of colour.
