Description

You can say with fug and right that there are not many artists like The Printed Peanut when it comes to happy and distinctive designs. With a similar preference for being inspired by old print-one-one and lending designs humor, we have worked with Louise Lockhart, the creative behind the company, to create an entertaining and striking series of matchboxes. This design is inspired by the heart-in-hand icon, which is used in many countries and is often given as a symbol for charity, manual work or from the heart.

Brand Archivist

Archivist uses the traditional letterpress printing technique to create its range of cards and stationery. Founded in 1994 by Sarah and William Allardice, the brand aims to create timeless pieces that imbue a sense of fun, as well as being useful. Archivist’s luxury matches come in printed boxes that double as keepsakes themselves, making them an ideal gift, whilst the charming designs on their greeting cards offer universal appeal. Some of London’s finest museums back the brand; the V&A are a stockist and the Natural History Museum commissioned its own collection.
