Apartamento Arranging Things: A Rhetoric Of Object Placement Book
When I received an invitation from the American Academy in Berlin to spend a few months in the German capital, I knew that this would be my last chance to finally create Berlin living spaces. The Berlin of 2014 was a far cry from the divided and battered Berlin of the 1960s and 1970s that I had known. It was now a glorious city where all the young people in the world wanted to move and where many famous artists wanted to work. The Berlin air was still contagious. "I began my voyeuristic journey with the enthusiasm and curiosity of a new visitor" - Dominique NabokovAfter the re-release of "Paris Living Rooms" and "New York Living Rooms", we are pleased to reprint our sold-out publication "Berlin Living Rooms" by Dominique Nabokov Over the years we have developed a close relationship with Dominique, having published a selection of her beautiful interior photographs from Paris Living Rooms (2002) and New York Living Rooms (1998) in issue #5 of the magazine . We had the privilege of publishing the third part of a project that has developed into a kind of holy trinity of interior photography over more than 20 years: Berlin Living Rooms with original photographs by Dominique Nabokov and texts by the American writer Darryl Pinckney and the ZEIT- Editor Christoph Amend.
