Introducing the 1L Whistler Grey Chalk Paint to the Annie Sloan range. This soft, warm grey will be the perfect foil for pastels and other neutral colours.

Many greys can appear to be cool or cold in tone in a room, but this new Whistler Grey from Annie Sloan will provide an atmospheric touch.

Picture an old chest of drawers painted in this grey, placed in a light filled room alongside soft furnishings in a palette of pale pinks and blues. This grey will add a statement touch without dominating or making the piece of furniture feel overly industrial.

• No need to sand or prime in most cases. If by any chance a piece does 'bleed' seal it with a shellac based primer such as Zinsser Bin.
• Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
• I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
• Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
• 1 litre is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres.
