This atmospheric grey will add a statement look to a piece of furniture. Paint a bedside cabinet in this warm grey and use in a room furnished with plain linens and neutral wall coverings for a contemporary look.

• A 120ml Whistler Grey Chalk Paint is enough to update a bedside cabinet or chair. For larger items you will need the 1 litre tin.
• Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax. you can also finish with Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
• I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture. This allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
• Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
