This bold Frida Blue Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan is a vibrant colour inspired by Mexican ceramics and the bright summers of South America.

• A 120 ml project pot is enough to update a bedside cabinet or chair. For larger items you will need either 500ml or a 1 litre tin.
• Don’t forget to finish with lashings of Clear Wax or alternatively Chalk Paint Lacquer in Matt or Gloss to protect your masterpiece.
• I use the Chalk Paint Bristle Brush for my pieces of furniture, this allows me to build up colour quickly, and will give me a textured finish if I am wanting it.
• Alternatively, use one of Annie Sloan Flat Brushes for a smoother, contemporary finish.
