In previous seasons our Nordic Cardigan used a classic coarse handfeel wool as we tried to emulate vintage Shetland knitwear. This season, we sourced a 12 gauge yarn that spins 70% recycled Merino wool with 30% pure cashmere wool. Both yarns are marked and traceable by Haelixa and are certified Responsible Wool Standard yarns. There is added heft to the remake of our popular style because we chose a waffle knit for the main body. This knit type uses much more yarn than a classic jersey knit and the end result is a chunky, heavyweight and extremely luxurious cardigan. All cardigans are finished with a rib knit placket and dyed corozo nut buttons.
