New to the Wiinblad family at The Scandinavian Shop is Eva, a special edition candleholder in eye-catching shades of deep red and purple, whose familiar round head and long body is reminiscent of vintage Wiinblad pieces. Eva's rich colour, decorative floral detail, and rosy cheeks, are a superb contemporary interpretation of Scandinavian folk art - a throwback to Wiinblad's original work. Using the artist's own drawings for the gentle facial features, the designer has created a strong air of authenticity and generous helpings of nostalgia in these charming ceramic designs which makes them so very appealing
