wagumi Kitpas Crayon 12 Colours
This pot with a lid was made by Tomoka Nomura, a ceramicist based near Kasama, in Ibaraki, Japan.
One of the last people to train with the master potter Tatsuzō Shimaoka, Nomura often engraves directly into the clay of her work to create surface decoration. In this case flower like patterns adorn the surface, with indigo dots at their centre.
The pot is 6.5cm in diameter, and 4.5cm high. It weighs 160g.
