The Raku portable lamp features a hand-sculpted ceramic base with a crackle glaze that varies slightly with each piece, adding originality, and serving as a reminder to enjoy imperfections. Named after the traditional Japanese pottery technique from which designer Sebastian Herkner was inspired, Raku is a compact lamp with considerable presence, perfect for any setting.

German designer Sebastian Herkner transforms contemporary objects into cultural artifacts and vice versa, channeling his appreciation for authentic materials and artisanal skills combined with modern technology. After graduating from the Offenbach University of Art and Design, Herkner's apprenticeship with Stella McCartney in London sparked his fascination with form, structure, texture, material and effects, evident in all of his work, including the smaller details.
