1. Edinburgh Art Festival

2. Copenhagen Fashion Week

All eyes are on the Great Danes as Copenhagen Fashion Week kicks off this August. Whether you’re embarking on a Danish adventure this summer or watching from home, get ready to take a masterclass in effortless style from the OGs. Follow your favourite brands on Instagram to watch the shows virtually and take note from street style for outfit inspiration.

3. Mug Making Workshop with Truce and Plop Pottery

Flex your creative muscles with a spot of pottery at Bristol-based lifestyle boutique, Truce, this August. Hand-build your very own mug using coloured clay and the slab method, guided by ceramics pro, Scarlett from Plop Pottery. Create anything you want from marbled effects to swirls and wiggles - the possibilities are endless. Plus, there’s 10% off everything in-store at Truce on the day, too.

4. Notting Hill Carnival

August bank holiday in London means one major thing, Notting Hill Carnival. Serving up the best music acts, street performers, delicious food and so much more, it’s the perfect event to immerse yourself in an infectious atmosphere and celebrate carnival culture. Here’s hoping the sun RSVPs, too.

5. Vinyasa Yoga with Hannah Lenton at Sunshine and Snow

Next up is one for the adults. Find your zen with Vinyasa Yoga at Bideford-based lifestyle boutique, Sunshine and Snow. Headed up by Hannah Lenton in the shop’s airy loft, the one our sessions will take you through a dynamic Vinyasa flow, are destined to leave you feeling recharged and revitalised. Plus, you can grab a post-workout coffee in their colourful shop space below. Count us in.

6. Acorn & Pip - Kids Activity Sessions

Perfect for those pesky rainy days when the kids need to break free from the house, Huddersfield-based Acorn & Pip offer drop-in kids activity sessions every single Wednesday - hallelujah! With puzzles to play-doh and everything in between, plus snacks for the little ones and a coffee bar for the adults, you can take a load off and know small hands are busy and entertained.
