1. Tell us about yourself and your blog.

I am trained as a medical doctor but I’m also a mother. I started blogging about 4 years ago as an outlet for my passion for interiors. Since then, the blog has evolved and I have done a lot of interior styling as well as photography for many of the brands that I love.

My blog also covers lifestyle topics including fashion, food and travel. The overarching theme that links all of the content together is my love of colour.

2. Where do you get the inspiration for the design of your home?

I get inspiration from many sources including reading other interior blogs, what I see when I travel and sometimes it can be from browsing through Pinterest or Instagram.

3. What do you predict to be the next big interior trend?

I normally predict interiors trends based on colour. Currently, green hues are really popular and I think this will continue, gradually transitioning into lighter, aqua tones for spring/summer 2017. Earthy tones with accents of coral pinks and small pops of orange will grow in popularity for 2017, as will jewel or gemstone colours in purples, blues and deeper pinks.

I love the idea of gallery walls filled with stunning examples of landscape photography, although I’m not sure whether it will be a trend, it might just be something I experiment with in my own home.

I’ve got my eye on the Assouline set of three Dior books from Pad Lifestyle – it’s the ultimate, stylish coffee table accessory.

5. What is your favourite Trouva boutique and why?

It’s too hard to choose! I don’t have a favourite because each boutique has their own quirky and unique charm. That’s why I love the Trouva concept because you can pick and choose cool, individual pieces from a whole range of different boutiques.
