Din Berlin Porcelain cup and notebook set – £59.18, Fundamental.Berlin pylon candle holder – £46.14
Kaibosh sunglasses – £90.58, Foureyesceramics earrings – £85.07

What struck us most about our new Berlin boutiques and the brands we unearthed there was a clear dedication to bold design. From offbeat clothing and jewellery to distinctive homewares, there was an appreciation of geometry and colour that emerged time and time again.

Fundamental.Berlin nest bowl in mint and blue – £33.20
Starstyling children’s sweater – £60.10

From imposing architecture to street-side graffiti, this appreciation of design defines Berlin and distinguishes it from many other European capitals. We wanted to channel this in our photoshoot, so we took inspiration from old Bauhaus posters to create a bold, geometric aesthetic that mirrored the vibrancy of the city and its shops.

The Jacksons jute tote bag – £78.60, set of 4 trivets – £101.71
Ucon Acrobatics canvas backpack – £64.03
