Vitra Night Desk Clock Black
The Turbine Clock (George Nelson, 1948-1960) is made of brass and wood.
With his collection of Wall Clocks (1948-1960), George Nelson created a wide range of clocks, some of which have become true icons of the 1950s.
Following Nelson's death in 1986, the Vitra Design Museum acquired his archives, which include approximately 7,400 manuscripts, plans, drawings, photographs and slides from the period 1924-1984. Vitra started manufacturing the Nelson Clocks again in 1999 and continues to expand the collection with new pieces from time to time. Wall Clocks come in various shapes and materials. Equipped with high-quality quartz movements, they remain a refreshing alternative to conventional watches and offer a wide selection of designs to suit almost any taste and style.
