Tall nuage Vase, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra.
In 2002, the shape of the Nouge vases appeared in the work of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the first time, this is very similar to a cloud, originally manufactured as a modular plastic shelf that could be joined creating larger shapes. Eight tubular holes pierce the flat surface of the vase and define the outer contour. Throughout their trajectory, the Bouroullec brothers have used and modified this form in their graphic work.
The designers made the motif of the cloud in extruded aluminum profiles of different lengths. The holes of the basic form are arranged vertically, dividing the vase into eight individual tubes that can be used for the artistic arrangement of flowers and plants.
Materials: Anodized aluminum, rubber bumpers.
