Description: TheMini Vase for the Lily Candlestick by Skultuna was designed by Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905-1978) for a no longer active Swedish company called Ystad-Metall. Ystad-Metall produced a large number of classic design items from the 1920s – 1960s. Skultuna has secured the rights to reproduce this iconic candlestick and the matching vase. The candlestick and vase was designed for the world fair in New York 1939.

Ivar Ålenius Björk worked as a sculptor and is mainly know for his bust portraits. His public ornaments can be seen in many Swedish towns.

The Lily Candlestick is a elegant candlestick that draws it’s inspiration from a lily. The elegant curves and the minimalistic design makes it both timeless, elegant and the perfect example of great Scandinavian design. The Lily Candlestick can be used both as a candlestick but can also be used as a vase by adding the Vase for the Lily Candlestick. The vase is a small little vase that is perfect for a couple of flowers. So that you can easily use your candlestick all year.

Care instructions: Wash by hand and if your live in areas with limescale then please use proper descaling to keep the vase crystal clean. Please notice that only the vase should be washed with water and soap, do not wash the candlestick.
