The colourful print of 'Keesje' is inspired by memories of Katja Schuurman's youth: "I remember a picture from my mother's childhood on the Carribean Island of Curacao. A picture of her dog with Keesje on his back. Keesje was a sweet, little monkey and always climbed up the dog's tail. Which was obviously unusual and adorable.
