About our Notebooks Our notebooks are A5 in size and have 236 pages. They contain 100gsm, smooth, fountain pen friendly paper stock. Numbered pages allow for easy navigation. As you move through the notebook, the page numbers gradually change colour, taking you through the spectrum. Special binding allows the notebook to open freely and lay completely flat. The cover is subtly blind embossed with ‘Papersmiths’ on the back and a satisfying thumb print sized monogram to the front. A pattern of tiny wiggles is embossed on the cover, in a nod to the squiggles and marks found on the testing pads in our shops. Named Morello, after our favourite ginger Tom cat.
