These clippers are made in Japan by Genzo and are distributed in the UK by the premium Japanese garden tool brand Niwaki. These clippers fall somewhere in between secateurs, snips and a small pair of shears. The blade is made from SK5 carbon steel, they have a satisfyingly bright pair of yellow handles and a comfortable weight in the hand. They can also be used as a general pair of scissors. There is a metal loop at the end of the handles that can be used to secure the clippers closed when not in use.
