The open, rectangular glass box with the four candle holders at the corners can be transformed in no time at all, because the candle holders are actually skewers that can only be pushed in and removed. So you can simply decorate the glass tray only inside & use the candle holders separately, for example by putting them in empty bottles, in flower pots or in driftwood (don't forget to pre-drill).
