The Hammershøi Salt & Pepper Mill by Danish brand Kahler is a beautiful designed item made from oak with a ceramic top - a lovely combination of materials which embodies the feeling of a Scandinavian kitchen. Designed by Hans-Christian Bauer as part of the classic Hammershøi collection it has an elegant simple design and features a ceramic grinding mechanism. The inspiration to the Hammershøi series is drawn from the early 20th century when the world-famous artist Svend Hammarshøi worked at Kählers old workshop. He was especially known for ceramic vases with deep grooves and Hans-Christian Bauer has reinterpreted his different patterns. The grooves on this mill are very elegant and provide you a perfect grip! Height 17.5cm Diameter 6.5cm.
