This Crystalline stem glass is manufactured using Xtreme® technology that is extraordinarily light elegant, easy to handle and yet extremely durable. The Etoile Collection is the result of a joint collaboration between Italesse and the Maitres Cuisiniers de France. Mouth blown, the original Etoile range was too expensive for general restaurant and home use so the Maitres Cuisiniers de France approached Italesse asking if they could take the perfect attributes of the Etoile glasses into a more mass produced environment without compromising the design. The mission was certainly not easy especially given the extremely high demands and expectations of the French masters. Prototype after prototype was developed, continuously fine-tuning the process until it was concluded with the hallmark Italesse result: aesthetics combined with functionality. A beautiful and reliable stem glass that is both durable yet light to hold has been created. The shape and features are ideal for wine tasting and, importantly, suitable for all types of wine.At 11% proof the Halfpenny Green Vineyards Penny Black 2019 is pale gold in colour with a bouquet of lemon, pear, and herbal notes. An easy-going wine with a soft well-rounded body, medium dry and notes of citrus, peach, and fresh cut grass. Works at its best as an aperitif but will pair well with white meats or vegetable-based dishes.Proudly British and situated in Bobbington Staffordshire the first ½ acre was planted in 1983 by founder Martin Vickers who still runs the vineyard today with his family. By 1991 a further 22 acres were added and today the vineyard totals almost 30 acres, making it one of the largest in the UK. Halfpenny Green Wine Estate is situated 250ft above sea level in well-sheltered south facing slopes, with light, sandy free-draining soil. The vines, spread over 30 acres, are comprised of sixteen different varieties, each producing a different grape. Familiar varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir feature prominently, and are used in producing the EstateÂs award-winning sparkling wines, amongst others. Due to the cooler climate, a variety of weather-hardy grapes are also grown throughout the site, including varieties such as Bacchus, Huxelrebe, Madeleine Angevine, Regent, Rondo and Schonburger, to name a few. This means that, even with the Great British weather, the vines still have good yield and produce high quality grapes.Italesse Glassware is conceived, designed and crafted for the restaurant, hotel and bar sector. This means the glasses are created with professionals in mind ensuring you enjoy a perfect aroma and taste no matter what you are drinking.
