Strong direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent UV to the natural fibres and dye colours. Storage in damp or wet conditions should be avoided to prevent damage to the leather pelt. Regular brushing will help maintain and bring out best in wool fibres. Small stains and light soiling can be spot cleaned with a clean damp cloth and light wool detergent. For more thorough cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended for best results. Hand in cool water (35°C) using wool approved detergent and gentle wool cycle. Please note,  hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibres and the leather pelt. After washing, the natural wool may revert back to its curly state, but brushing with either a wire wool comb or brush while wet and after drying will help restore the fluffy appearance and lift fibres.
