Flensted Lundstroem 1932 Mobile
This Futura mobile is the first ever mobile designed by Ole Flensted in 1970, the son of the founder of Flensted mobile, Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe. The six bars create a dynamic tension between light and heavy counterpoints. Flensted Mobiles is now a family business for three generations. Flensted Mobiles are created so that the elements are in constant motion while the entire mobile maintains a harmonic balance. Each mobile is carefully assembled, and balanced by skilful hands. They are packed so that they are ready to hang.
Flensted have been designing and making their iconic range of mobiles since 1954. A family run business from the beginning, the Flensted collection has developed to include a range of different styles of mobiles from elephant shaped mobiles for children’s bedrooms, to the abstract ‘symphony’ range. Flensted mobiles serve a two-fold purpose as beautiful room decor and a relaxing feature in any room as they move slowly when suspended.
