Although the craft of making mobiles is very much a danish tradition, the decorative style we see today was born out of an original design made by christian and grethe flensted for their first child in 1953. Their design was hugely popular and eventually grew into a full-time occupation for the couple who then devoted their entire life to the creation and production of flensted mobiles which have since found worldwide appeal.
